The other Sunday in ministry time someone felt God gave them a word about people in our Sunday Gathering who were struggling with chemical imbalance. One of the folks who responded to the invitation to come and receive prayer was a visitor. He told the team praying for him that he felt that every bone in his body was telling him to leave but he knew God was calling him to come up for prayer.
The team prayed quite simply that God would restore the proper balance and then he left. Four or five days later he emailed in to bring us an update.
He told us that he had spent the night at The Royal in Edinburgh, (a place he had been several times before because they were treating him for P.T.S.), where he had been monitored by an Infrared camera, and wired up to eleven wires and two belts to see why it is he can go 30+ hours without sleep and, be dysfunctional in other things relating to his mind.
He has realised that God was doing something when he was being prayed for on the Sunday and so had specifically prayed that that would be confirmed by nothing showing up on the monitor or the computer print out so that the doctor would have to report that there was nothing wrong.
Guess what? When the doctor attending, came to see him after all the tests were done and analysed she said, “Nothing showed up on the monitor and she couldn't see anything wrong” Isn’t God good? He had answered our prayers from Sunday.
